The channel loops through a handful of screens and rebuilds the loop every minute from what is in ODA. Add an event in the back office and it is on the TVs before the meeting is over.
One small box in the server room renders the channel and streams it. From there it reaches rooms the same way any TV channel does.
One playlist URL adds the channel — name, logo and guide included — to every box on the hotel network. Standard HLS, or multicast for large properties.
Android TV and any set that runs an IPTV app pick the same playlist up. No firmware, no hotel-mode contract required.
The same channel plays inside the ODA guest app, so a guest by the pool sees what the lobby screen shows.
